Transwestern is a progressive, global real estate company. They were named one of the top places to work by multiple publications, including Crain’s, Fortune magazine, and New Jersey Business Journal. The Chicago office, among others, has been growing rapidly and cultivating a vibrant company culture. In celebration of their new office space and a new “image” in the marketplace, they wanted an expressive and branded office space that matched their culture, as well as demonstrated how they creatively approach business space.
Torque concepted a fully branded space that would bring an urban feeling of the city they’re a part of into the office. The goal: To greet guests and employees with the uniqueness and highly relational personality of the firm. After diving deep into Transwestern’s culture and vision for the brand, we designed a full environmental program. We hired an urban graffiti artist to paint a blue wall full of Chicago related words, took portraits of the entire staff in formal and playful poses for an interactive team wall and designed floor-to-ceiling graphics for the entryway. Torque created a full experience from office installations, complete with a swag station, take-away custom buttons and apparel, and a public transportation graphic wrap covering the entire elevator vestibule. In the end, the office felt innovative, authentic, fun and urban….a true reflection of Transwestern and Chicago’s culture.
